| | Well, what a weekend!! It was one of the best ever. We went camping again. Now that we know we like it, we went and bought a tent and sleeping bags and a lantern. All of it was for Kevin's big birthday which is tomorrow. We had a great time that night, but we woke up to a very cold morning. We can deal with cold, but it was also very windy and we had trouble keeping our coals going (there is a burn ban so we could not use firewood). So we packed up early and came home. It was still a blast. Saturday we just spent together and enjoyed. That night, we had a SS party for Kevin's class. So a fun night of fellowship with church members. And we woke up and went to church and then came home and got ready for the Casting Crowns concert!! So fun! It is surprising that we can get so much out of a concert that we have already seen, but God spoke to us in such a different way from last year's. We also took a lot of our friends and people from our church! It was a great time!!
The little girl that I watch will not be here for about three weeks, while her mom is on vacation, so I am going to enjoy this time with my girls. I had planned on taking them to the park today, but it is raining and looks like it is going to rain for two or three days. I am not complaining about the rain, though. We are under a severe drought in this area, and the rain is badly needed. We will probably go to the park in the mall tomorrow or something! Today, we are going to go and get stuff for Kevin's birthday!
